Smithson let me put in a basic locator mod all by myself today and it worked! And he said he's going to let me make a helmet for myself from an old broken down one. It's not going to be quick, but it's going to ultimately be my way of proving to him that I'm ready to start taking certs!

Sounds like your work is coming along well. Are you going to stick with the same color for your new helmet or try a different one?

No one has ever made me anything like this before. I treasure it. Just as much as my e-reader or the clothes Roxy got me or lots of other gifts from that day.

I'm glad. So, your work's been going well, what about everything?

Everything is fine. I've found a summer camp for the twins that I've enrolled them in with what I make for you. Theta, though, has his heart set on a skateboard clinic that will last most of the summer and isn't subsidized. You could win big points if you helped us pay for that and get him new kneepads.

You know I'm willing to help out and it'll give him something to do over the summer. I was just talking to Omega about what your plans were for them. I can take him out later this weekend for knee pads and if you send me the registration forms for the clinic, I'll fill them out.

None. If we tried to make him go somewhere the house would have a LOT of technical problems.

How have things been between you and Omega?

Omega wants me to leave him alone.

In less kind words. He won't tell me what you were trying to ask him about, he's trying to say it was about him not liking to text.

[protective_logic]

It's not. My records show that I noted that terseness from him does carry through with text, and so I was certain that he was upset. And when he said it was just because he doesn't like typing, I pointed out that I knew he was lying and there was something more going on.

Long story short he told me that I should go off and fuck Maine and that he doesn't want a supportive brother, so I was to leave him alone. I find that when he is upset the best thing to do is acquiesce.
