Oh god, I'm looking through my message log. I'm so sorry. I When I'm on pain meds I get... giggly and talkative and I don't tend to remember the stupidity.

Taking back what my high as a kite self said... I'm the person that is the love interest decoy in the book. They're there, they're with the main character, and things are going one way. Then betrayal hits, the MC wises up, and finds their true love. Love conquers all in the end blah blah blah.

Maybe you're not. Maybe you're the main character and he was the first love who left you deeply hurt. Now you need to find someone to teach you to trust again. I've read that story many times.
