Have I explained his certifying process? There are three exams, only one of which has anything remotely close to active combat. There's a written portion, an accuracy test for guns and knives, and a hand-to-hand simulation to check his skill level. No one will be shooting at him. And if they do, your sister has every right to rip them apart.

I'm admittedly biased about her taking him. I told Texas that she could take Omega, but only if I were allowed to help look after the family in their absence.

I'd need an interim helmet, of course. But part of the learning is you get this practice helmet and in the end you make it fully functional and...

Well, anyway, I'm excited. Apparently Helmet techs have GREAT coverage for replacement helmets. I'm going to talk to Tex and Smithson about surprising Omega with a helmet for his merc work instead of replacing mine just yet.
