Magic is just science they don't understand. It's a fictional universe. So there are ways around the laws of thermodynamics.

Yeah, but the rule in this particular universe is that "magic" is done through what Thor's race, the Asgardians, left behind when they left Earth. So is Thor, who is not exactly an intellectual giant, still more experienced with magic than humans who don't understand the underlying principles but have been studying the devices for generations?

Yes. They should invite Dr. Strange onto the team. Even if it might get confusing.

What team? Who is Dr. Strange?

Dr. Strange is the Supreme Sorcerer. But it might be confusing because he looks like Tony Stark, he's a doctor like Bruce Banner, and he's a Stephan like Steve Rogers.

That's not entirely true. Dr. Banner has a Ph.D. and Dr. Strange is a neurosurgeon.

You can't call him Steve and you can't call him Doctor and you can't even call him Strange because the stuff they get into is so bizarre. It would be like Maine calling me Bullet.
