I know I don't have the right to message you, and I wouldn't blame you for deleting this without reading it. I want to apologize anyway.

O'Malley--Omega--is an idiot, but he loves you. Because he loves you, he has made some assumptions about mercenary life. One is that he can work without killing. Another is that he's invincible.

One of these is stupid, but I'm willing to discuss the other. Since you aren't talking to him, would you consider discussing these options with me?

Truth be told? I don't desire to talk about the decision he has made. He forgot that he is not the only one who such a decision affected. There is nothing I can do to change his mind or convince him that he won't get killed. Or maimed. I expect maiming is also something that happens.

Nothing he does will change my opinion, except for stopping. And he will not do that. I can no more approve of his decision in this than he would approve if I were to 'turn tricks'. So I don't see the point in argument anymore and allowing him to believe he has won.

That being said?

I am quite sorry for how I took my pain and fear out on you. My entire intention was to call off our meeting so I could finalize my plans and make my move. And yes, I was angry with you as well. But I know Omega. He is the proverbial horse. Led to water, yes. Drinking it? No.

I don't know how you met or how he got into work with you, but please, if nothing else, watch out for him. He has a family to support.
