I... It's... it's the cheapest model as Charon is retiring the design. And the little ones are used to me wearing it, so it seems appropriate that the thing which will eventually become my own helmet just be that.

They'd get used to you wearing a new helmet, D. If money wasn't a problem, what helmet would you want? And would be the safest for you to wear? If they're retiring that model, then there are way better ones you could be wearing.

It's specially designed to lack a visor, allowing for an internal screen instead, which lets you do lots of more interesting things, and there are special ports that allow for specialized sensors that can be wired in. The style is optimized for use by technicians and engineers and the sensors allow for the sorts of things that mods can't achieve on their own. The hardware is really important. It's not something you can get from Charon, but rather is a design by a smaller company, Lethbridge Industrial, who crafts specialized helmets for different liens of work.

Of course you'd want something this technical. I've seen people using this design before. I'll stop by Lethbridge Industrial's store and see if they have this in stock.
