I have, but I haven't had time to start something new. I was saving truly getting into it for post-surgery.

How is Omega doing?

Well from what I've been seeing. Have you not talked to him much?

I've promised not to pry into his personal life. But it seems my question was misinterpreted. I meant with his training. Maine and I have not been focused on discussing it lately given my condition. I imagine I will be updated more later. Is he doing well? I am curious as to what outfitting him would cost so we can start setting aside money for that. I want to know what kinds of stuff he might need in a helmet so I can research mods and discuss learning how to maintain them from Smithson. I want to know if he is doing better with guns and if we should get a gunsafe for the house in case the worst happens and work follows him home, but also keep any weapon away from the littles.

I'm curious about his mercenary life, as his professional life I can help with, if only a little.

I can put together a few lists. We have gear here he can borrow until he can get some of his own. Where you want to start depends on whether or not you want to bother getting a starter set or go straight for the high-end gear. I'm already looking at potential helmets he could use, he's going to need bio-op mods and a good HUD to keep track of everyone's readings if he's going to be a medic.

I've had the Charon Operator line recommended to me as somewhere for him to start, but if you or Smithson have a suggestion I'm open to them.

I'll talk to Smithson about it but you'd want to check with Omega to see if he likes the look of it as well.

That'd be it. And he likes the idea of a black helmet with purple accents, but I haven't gone farther into the fashion of it. If it gets the job done, I doubt he'll be too concerned with the look. It's not like we're going to buy it without him getting the final say, it's his gear.

I'll talk to Smithson. You'll keep me appraised of what I need to know regarding equipping him, yes?

Of course. I'll keep you both updated on it. I don't want him going on dangerous jobs unprepared.

One expense at a time. Omega's safety and preparation are far more important. Smithson will lend me the money for certs, but that is a way away. York managed to put off major expenses for a while.

[It's not like she needs to know that he needs to buy a practice helmet. That can wait until Omega has a good one.]

How are things at the house?

Quiet. The twins start their summer camp on Monday, Theta on Wednesday. And I'm scared out of my head about Friday but I know that the others will handle it well. I expect I'm going to have to leave a lot to Omega and you and hte others because I don't expect to be conscious for most of Friday.
