1. Nothing. We need the money to save for at least hearing aids for me, or something. Or a replacement helmet if I can't keep working at Smithson's. The doctor did say that since my surgery is non-critical and I'm not at risk and the implants themselves aren't breaking down in my skin it could be a month before they get me in. Which isn't much time to save up for the first payment.

2. No they aren't. Glasses don't do that. And I think my script stabilized a few years ago so these can last longer. See number one above.

3. Can I turn that into the twins using you for a pillow fight? I'm trying to spend time with them today, but they asked me how it happened and I explained the 'tiny robots in my head that help me' and now they're worried if they hit me in the head with a pillow they could make it worse. It doesn't matter how much I promise that it won't. They just stay here in my arms and insist that they don't want to play.

This isn't that time you bleached your hair blonde growing up because you thought it made you look badass, and made your skin sensitive because you reached poorly to the treatment. This is a medical procedure with, at best, a low five figure sum if they take the current implants out and find out they only need a very small fix instead of full replacement with an improved system.

Well, I'm on the paperwork too, plus Sigma and Epsilon are around. Surely they won't think you're a danger to the littles, and three adults is more than most kids live with. Don't worry about CPS.

That said, I do think we should talk to York's medics. Maybe they'll move a little faster.
