Eight people, four of them yet to hit adult size. One full time job with some over time. One piecework job. Two part time jobs that are low paying and most of the funds of which go to the needs of my college aged siblings.

I'd offer that even those complications are complicated, but I think you get the point. Yes. A lot of complication. To the point that sometimes even I do not know what is going on.

Well, maybe not geniuses. Talented at the very least. I'm a whiz with numbers. My brother Sigma, for instance, is talented with Chemistry.

And we will not abuse the check.

Yes. All of my siblings have... strange iris colors. I take it you've met Sig.

I thought your eyes were a rather vivid green. Yes, I have met him.

If only I could show you Eta and Iota's eyes. Brilliant cerulean blue and a brilliant gold. My family is distinct.

I apologize in advance if he annoyed you and express awe if he did not.

Prepare to be awed then, we actually got on really well.

He tends to get on with people who aren't me. We have very different thought styles and if we don't decide to sit down and be civil, we can butt heads.

But I assure you he's a good kid. He took our youngest siblings to the park to give me a day off on Sunday.

Oh really? That's a shame. As someone who lives with a bunch of others, I know how hard it is when you don't get on with one of them. Must be harder, being family.

Yeah, that's where I met him. The purple kid, I forget his name, nearly ran me over on his skateboard and Sigma came to apologise. Glad he did that for you.

He let Theta take his skateboard? God, that must have been a mess for him. I hope Theta apologized. He's at that age where we're teaching how to be polite.

I'm glad you got on with him. I'd hate if you were at odds with my family, even by accident. My older brother, Omega, ran into a guy named York who thought he knew us and scared little Theta so much... I'm surprised Meg didn't punch him. He's quite protective.

The kid's good on the board for his age (or what I'm guessing his age is), I'll give him that. And yes, he apologised.

Your brothers met Other York? Did he have both eyes?

All I know is that the guy told Meg that I had been lost to him or something, and it freaked Meg out.

Okay, this is going to sound crazy, but I swear it's true. There's another version of me wandering around Gulch. He's like... an alternate version of me. Jimmy's got this weird interdimensional portal or something and this guy fell through from his universe to this one.

I don't know a Jimmy. Strange.

He's a... Actually, I'm not entirely sure exactly what he is. But he's got this thing and so far I've run into at least two people who came through it, one of which was a different me. So yeah, very strange.
